Traveling with dog?

.

My family and I are going tomorrow to Trinidad, Colorado. We would like to take our dog but we also wanted to take the free trolley rides around the city when we get there. Will they allow a dog on the trolley? He is 15 pounds and about the size of a cocker spaniel. He is a pure bred Havanese. We do not want to leave him at home, nor do we want to put him in a kennel. I thought that some people could take dogs on a trolley. Like the people who live there would take a pet somewhere. Please give me advice or a web link to where I can find such information. Thank You!

Probably only blind people on trollys with animals. Look up the local trolley system and find out. Or keep him in your room while you are out and about.

I’m not sure if they will but if you don’t want to put it in a kennel then a dog purse should work nicely

I would call over to Trinidad, Colorado and ask the front desk do they know off hand if you can allow small dogs on the trolley. If they do not know, then maybe they can give you the number of the recreation or transportation department in charged of the trolley system and you can ask them. If they say yes, then, you would have to be respnsible for your dog and his actions.
I hope you enjoy your trip to Trinidad, Colorado.
