I'm leaving for the weekend. Is it okay for me to leave a my rottweiler in the backyard by itself?
I have automatic feeder and water system, insulated dog house, and escape-proof yard.
Also, i leave kong toys have spring pole.

it would be ok so long as you have someone to come over and see them each day to make sure that it is getting food and that it doesnt get lonely. just make sure to have a neighbour or family member come and check on it regularly and play with it a bit
No! Your rottweiler will get madly lonely! Have a friend or neighbor come over, just a couple of times a day to make sure he/she is okay and to give him/her some company.

Rottweilers need exercise and mental stimulation- DAILY!
Leaving the dog out when you arn’t home is not a good idea even for a day- he could be stolen, poisoned, piss off the neighbors with barking, become very frusterated and destructive, etc. What if he gets overheated?
Leave your dog inside and hire someone to come and take care of him while you are away. This is the respondsible thing to do.
Please don’t. You never know what could happen when you leave your dog(s) alone for a long period of time like the weekend. Not only could they escape from your backyard (anything is possible), but they could be caught in severe weather (i live in New England so the weather is always changing). They still need attention from somebody even though you will only be gone a couple days. Please, have a trusted friend or family member dog-sit or bring him/her to a kennel so she can be taken care of while you are gone.
Sounds ok. Just make sure someone (like a neighbor) comes to see your dog is ok.
