I live in a studio apartment and I also have a pet kitten. I woke up this morning to find a dead mouse on my carpet. I really don’t know what to do! Can someone please help?

Pick it up and throw it into your front yard. It will decompose and disappear. How to pick it up? Put a back inside out. Then put your hand in a grab it. Then throw it in your yard or trash. Or have your kitten eat it! Haha good luck!

Whatever you do; DON’T call the animal rights people. You may end up in jail!!!!!!!!!!

I would want to know why it died in my house. Is there something in my house that may also be harmful to me?

    Yuk!

I used to ask my brother to take a dead mouse to the trash for me, but now I have to get it out myself. I use a broom to sweep it onto the dustpan, then throw it into the trash, and outside as soon as possible!

if you live near a park or have some sort of yard, you should burry it. if you dont, then wrap it in a paper towel or rag and you’ll have to just throw him out in a garbage can unfortunately, even though it sounds sort of careless, it’s basically the only other option. Also, don’t punish the cat. it thought it was helping and actually brought you a "present". my cats have done it a few times. You’ll have to pet her and tell her it’s okay instead of yelling or anything.

Well that’s pretty gross…I guess try to pick it up with a small shovel or something and wear gloves definitely, then throw it outside or in an outdoor trash can. You wouldn’t want to get any diseases from it or anything like that.

At least the kitten is doing it’s job, right? haha
