A question(s) for Raw dog Feeders –?
Does anyone here feed Natural Variety Raw meat food to their dogs or cats? If so would you say you are satisfy with the product?
How much on average does a bag cost and how long does it last? (I know that can depend on how much your pet gets feed)
Do you also get a couple of different formulas because I have read its good to switch off i.e. Chicken one day, Beef another etc. If you feed this brand to your pet can you feed other meats so say you find some chicken backs or a pig snout on sale can you get this and feed this to your dog for one of the meals and then have NVR meal another day/meal?

I can’t afford to feed the dogs NV Medallions, but I used to feed it to the kitties. I prepare my own raw meals for everyone and it has been so much cheaper. I spent somewhere around $22 for a big bag and it would only last a few weeks with 2 cats. In my opinion, if you feed medallions as their primary meal, you shouldn’t add any more bone since their is enough in them already. Too much bone can cause constipation. If you make the meals yourself, you will surely save money and chewing on bones will help to keep teeth clean. I was impressed with the medallions though, so if you do feed them I think you will be pleased.
Ive never heard of Natural Variety Raw meat foods… but I can say that its ok to mix-up your dogs diet with the NVR meats and other meats you buy from a butcher.
If you don’t give a variety of meats, organ and bones then your dog wont be getting all its nutrients as different meats and fishes provide different oils and vitamins – which your dog needs. See this chart for more information http://mypetcarnivore.com/raw_nutrients.pdf
